So I was just youtube hopping and chanced upon this lovely couple.

( i subsequently googled for them and found the blog of the lovely lady at http://dayre.me/yinagoh   and yinagoh.blogspot.com AND realized that they just got hitched recently.)

Songs to memories.

Do you have this instance where you listen to a certain song and it reminds you of places, persons or moments?

And when that happens, you tend to put the song on repeat, perhaps another 10x until you got tired of running those memories over and over again?
Sometimes it's the lyrics. Sometimes it's the melody. Other times, maybe it's the MTV.
There might be several rendition of one song but only one has that particular effect on you.

It can't just be happening to me only, right? *shifty eyes*

No this isn't about my sappy emotional weakness.. again. HAHA!
Today I'm here to post a sappy song instead. LOL.

Some of you might remember her, Daphne Khoo from Singapore Idol many years back.




Chanced upon her song after Wongfu uploaded their new short. Good job there again, wongfu. You guys never fail to tug heart strings with your shorts.

Let's not digress now. *laughs*. Back to Daphne khoo.

She has a website with a short bio about herself.  I was surprised to learn that her birth country was actually perth and also had an unfortunate brush with ovarian cancer some years back.

I remember stumbling into her short performance at starbucks a couple of months back.
Tiny lady with a huge voice inside her. Her live performance indeed, blew the audiences mind away. Everyone kept their eyes and ears glued on her.

This song is the current earworm. I'm running on repeat.

Despite being friday, my all time favorite day of the week, i feel extremely uninspired.

Now I'm wondering.

What do I achieve from blogging?
There is nothing that I'm sharing is effectively helpful at all? Does it?

Accidentally stumbled on this song through a TVB drama named Swipe Tap Love.
If you are into sappy romantic humor drama, this is something you might love to watch.
It tugged my heartstrings through all 20 episodes enough to make me weep towards the end.

(either that or it's just the hormones again. *laughs*)


 Not quite sure what the song is singing about but I think it is something along encouragement., don't give up, don't despair.
